Matt Bayly

Matt has over seven years of planning experience, beginning as a Planner for Kaipara District Council in 2017 after completing the Bachelor of Urban Planning (Honours) Degree at The University of Auckland. He worked in the resource consents team for over three years before returning to university to complete a Master of Urban Design.

During his career, Matt has worked on a variety of projects, the majority include medium- to high-density residential schemes and commercial developments, as well as neighbourhood-scale structure plans and master plans.

Matt looks for opportunities to add value for both clients and the built environment through his design experience and working knowledge within the industry.

Outside of work, Matt is an active relaxer who loves to get into nature and enjoys ceramics, tennis and gardening.
