Philippa Riddell

Philippa (Pip) holds a Masters in Regional and Resource Planning and is an Associate at Sentinel Planning with over nineteen years of experience. She has worked on a wide variety of development projects in both the public and private sectors in Queenstown Lakes and Auckland areas, residential new builds in the Whangarei, Thames Coromandel, and Far North districts for private clients, and processed numerous applications put forward by Kāinga Ora.

Pip’s background includes extensive knowledge of Auckland Unitary Plan standards, representation at notified hearings and the Auckland Urban Design Panel, writing planning evidence, rebuttal, undertaking expert conferencing for the Environment Court, making delegated decisions for Auckland Council (and Acting Team Leader for the Upper Harbour/Albany area. She is a specialist in town centre, apartment and natural landscape applications.

Pip loves a good challenge and is motivated by watching her clients’ development dreams take shape and come alive.

Pip loves to travel, explore the outdoors, and catch up with friends in her spare time. She is a Highlanders supporter and has a penchant for cheese rolls.
